PHP Array Functions

Array Functions:

PHP provides numerous built-in functions for working with arrays, including:

  • count(): Returns the number of elements in an array.
  • array_push(): Adds one or more elements to the end of an array.
  • array_pop(): Removes and returns the last element of an array.
  • array_merge(): Combines two or more arrays into a single array.

Example Usage of Array Functions:

  • $numbers = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5];
    echo count($numbers); // Output: 5
    $fruits = ["Apple", "Banana"];
    array_push($fruits, "Orange");
    print_r($fruits); // Output: Array ( [0] => Apple [1] => Banana [2] => Orange )

In summary, PHP arrays provide a flexible and powerful way to store and manipulate data, whether it’s a simple list of values, key-value pairs, or multidimensional structures. They are an essential part of PHP programming and are used extensively in various applications.
